Though the summer months often bring a different, perhaps slower tempo to the normal rhythm of life, it is certainly not the case with the Pachyderm Club.  This summer has been packed with fantastic guest speakers and strong attendance.  And we continue to add new members, including our most recent speaker, Georgia State Senator Jeff Mullis.  Our thanks to you, Senator, for your service to our wonderful neighbors to the south!  We’ve also been privileged to hear from many of our local legislative and county leadership—on the heels of Chattanooga’s most exciting news, the announcement of the arrival of Volkswagen, a $1 Billion boost to our local economy.  On behalf of the Pachyderm Club, I wish to offer my most sincere congratulations to Mayors Ramsey and Littlefield, Senator Alexander, and of course, our very own Congressman Zach Wamp and Senator Bob Corker for this wonderful news.

August promises to be another great month for the Pachyderm Club.  We’ll start the month with a local candidate’s forum, moderated by HCGOP Vice-Chair Brett Hale, who also will be our program chairman for August.  The very next week, we are privileged to have Congressman Zach Wamp for our speaker.
